Subjek | Drugs -- Analytical methods -- Dosage -- SULPHONAMIDES -- CHICKENS -- Residue |
Catatan | The residue concentration and withdrawal time of sulfadimethoxine (SDMX) in the edible tissues of chicken were studied. The SDMX has administrated orally following dose of 50 mg/kg b.w. once daily for 5 consencutive days. The residue concentration were reduced under MRLs (0,1ppm) in muscle, liver and skin on 5,5 and 11 days after last treatment, respectively. These results demonstrated that the SDMX was eliminated much more slowly from the skin from other tissue or plasma. The withdrawal time is to be established on a longest tissue residue peridue period, in the skin. In this esperiment, the withdrawal time of SDMX and the treated chicken is safe to be slaughtered on the 11th day after last treatment. |
