Catatan Sera collected from vaccinated and nonvaccinated chickens in Bogor, Tangerang, Bekasi and Cianjur were tested for antibody titer to Haemophilus paragallinarum type A and type C by Haemagglutination Inhibitation (HI) test. When more than 1 : 5 of HI titer was designated as positive, 85 of 133 sera from vaccinated chikens were positive to Haemophilus paragallinarum type A (63.9%), 59 of 145 sera from vaccinated chickens were positive to Haemophilus paragallinarum type C (40.7%), but only 99 of 438 sera from unvaccinated chickens were positive to Haemophilus paragallinarum type A (22.6%) and 30 of 399 sera from unvacinnated chickens were positive to Haemophilus paragallinarum type C (7.5%). These results indicated that type A and C infections of Haemophilus paragallinarum in chikens may infiltrate into indonesia.
