Risks faced by farmers in Indonesia are both natural as well as man-made, such as droughts, floods or excess water, pests and diseases infestations, and emergence of weeds (natural) and non-availability or poor quality of inputs like seeds, fertilizers and pesticides, less accessible credit, and market failures.
