This conference aimed to: 1) Gather and formulate the information on science and technology as attempt to develop animal hashandry that implement green environment and meet animal health, welfare and food safety 2) Exchange of animal husbandry and veterinary information and technology and promote research results and 3) Improve information networking among research institutes, universities and stakeholders. The conference featured 2 distinguished speakers from Indonesia and 4 speakers invited from aboard. They were Director General of IAARD presenting "Livestock technology development based on local resources to support food security". Prof. Dr. T.D. Soedjana (ICARD) presenting: "Sustainable Livestock Production in the Perspective of National Food Security Policy"; Prof Jothi Malar Panandam (Fac. of Agriculture, UPM-Malaysia) presenting "Animal Genetic Resources (Sustainable development, utilization and breeding strategy of animall genetic resources)"; Dr Lars Schrader (Institute of Animal Welfare and Animal Husbandry, Federal Research Institute for Animal Health, Germany) presenting "Legal Requirements for Farm Animal Housing in the EU and an Outlook for Further Development", Dr. Michael Marahrens (Institute of Animal Welfare and Animal Husbandry, Federal Research Institute for Animal Health, Germany) presenting" Legal Requirements and Practical Experiences of Long Transports of Cattle and Pip in Europe"; Prof Da-ling Liu: "The Detoxification of Alfatoxin Oxidase: The Mechanism and Application Studies". Besides invited papers, there are 70 supporting papers from overseas and within the country. These supporting papers were written by scientist coming from Assesment Institute from different provinces, Universities, Indonesian Institute of Science, IRIAP. Some selected papers were published in Jurnal Ilmu Ternak dan Veteriner and Wartazos, which are accreditated journal. Research results that presented in the conference have been reviewed by referees, connected by authors, and proofread by editors.
