Indonesian government has established 9 (nine) strategies including vaccination for controlling the disease. Indonesian veterinary laboratory routinely conduct serological of blood to detect antibody post vaccination, but not from egg yolk. The egg yolk is rich of antibody content, because chicken transmitted the antibody for rheir progeny through the eggs. The purpose of this study to detect of antibody in egg yolk from vaccinated chickens, unvaccinated chicken and eggs from retail market by using haemagglutination inhibition (HI) test and agar gel immunodiffusion test (AGID).
