Pertanian, 16(3): 87-93. Porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome (PRRS) is a viral swine disease
which has spread rapidly to pig industry in the world. The disease is still new, however, serological data
indicated that antibody against PRRS virus was detected in pig sera in Indonesia. This paper describe the
history of disease, aetiology, clinical signs, pathogenesis, diagnosis, prevention, treatment, and control of
