Runted and stunted cases appeared between 13 and 29 days of age by 19.1% (86/283 g) to 30.4% (186/975 g) of normal growth. In 122 broiler results from D.I from Yogyakarta showed that runted and stunted cases appeared between 12 and 21 days of age by reducing growth 40.7% to 80.9% depended upon age and affected all breeds examined. CAV was isolated from the field cases, then reisolated as well as general bacterial groups. Results of 110 samples from West Java and 134 samples from D.I.Yogyakarta detected the common bacterial such as E. coli, Staphylococcus sp., Streptococcus sp., S. aureus, S. epidermidis and Klebsiella sp. However, only nine out of 30 samples was isolated Campylobacter sp., which played an important role in decreasing weight in the stunting syndrome cases in broiler chickens.0 aTATTY SYAFRIATI a00000032995
