Colibacillosis pada anak sapi di Jawa Tengah text 1982 Penyakit Hewan en Vol.14(24) p.47-53. (1982). Occurrence of calf diarrhoea regarded as colibacillosis was observed in Semarang and Blora regency, Central Java. Faecal specimens were taken and laboratory examination resulted in Escherichia coli being isolated from 15.4 percents of samples from Semarang and 14.3 percents of samples from Blora. Drug sensitivity test revealed that in Semarang E. coli isolates were resistant to tetracycline (91.67 percents), oxytetracycline (76.86 percents), neomycin (66.67 percents) but, however, they were sensitive to ampicillin (75 percents), kanamycin (75 percents) and chloramphenicol (66.60 percents). Many isolates from Blora were sensitive to several drugs including chloramphenicol, kanamycin, neomycin and trimethoprim-sulfamethoxazole. These isolates were also sensitive to tetracycline (72.72 percents), but they were resistant to ampicillin (63.64 percents).
