Catatan A serological study of pasteurella multocida (Fowl Cholera) was conducted from 5 (five) provinces in Java, namely West Java, Banten, East Java, Yogyakarta and Central Java. A total of 815 sera sample from fowl cholera unvaccinated layer chickens were tested using Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) technique. The result showed that 52.77 % out of 813 samples were positive againts Fowl chorela. Based on Sander, et. al. (1988) protectivity titer 78.13 % of the samples were protective. However, Based on vaccine potency testing report at National Veterinary Drug Assay Laboratory (unpublished data ), only 48.04 % of the samples were protective.
