The diet contained 0, 5, 10 and 15% calcium carbonate were given to chikens (group I) and the same presentatives of calcium phosphate dibasic were given to chickens group II. During the observation period (5 weeks) the mortality rate of chicks in group I was 27.5% and there were no death of chicks in group II. Change of body weight were much lower in group I than group II. The histopathological change were found mainly in kidneys either group I or group II, there were no lesions in chicks of group II with 5% calcium phosphate dibasic diet.
