The swab specimens were inoculated onto desoxycholate agar (DSA) and the baacteria was identified based on morphology, Gram stain, haemolysis on the blood agar plate, growth on MacConkey agar media, glucose and lactose fermentation, indole production, oxidase test and catalase test.
