Sample sera of cattle originated from Sukabumi, Lampung Tengah,Tapanuli Selatan, Asahan, Kapuas Hulu, Nunukan, Tanah Laut, and Hulu Sungai Tengah were collected by staff of Veterinary Drug Assay Laboratory and the officials of Diseases Investigation center Region I,III,IV and V. Based on Rose Bengal Test (RBT), the highest prevalence of brucellosis reactor was bogor District (25%, 100 out of 400 samples). The prevalence of reactor in Malang District was 12.8% (5 out of 39) and in Lampung Tengah was 5.0 % (1 out of 20). based on serum agglutination test (SAT) the highest prevalence of reactor was Bogor District (17.50%, 69 out of 388 samples). The prevalences of reactor in Malang District and Lampung Tengah District were 10.26% (4 out of 39) and 5.0% (1 out of 20) respectively, while the samples from Bandung, Sleman, Semarang, Boyolali, Lampung Selatan, Tapanuli Selatan, Asahan, Kapuas Hulu, Nunukan, Tanah Laut and Hulu sungai Tengah were all negative. The result suggested that Brucellosis control in Bogor should be implemented by vaccination program and B. abortus should be Isolated from the District.
