Perbandingan antara gejala klinik dan perubahan histopatologi untuk penilaian uji kandungan virus pada vaksin avian encephalomyelitis Arini Nurhandayani text Bogor BBPMSOH 1990 Vol. 3, p. 26-28 id 1 tables; 5 ref. Summary (En) The purpose in this study was to compare the pathological lesion in the central nervous system in inoculated chicken by using histopathological examination with the observation of clinical sign for Avian Encephalomyelitis virus content test. Thirty-five 1-day-old SPF chicken were inoculated intracerebrally with 0.1 ml of a serial dilution: 10-2 ,10-3, and 10-4, of Avian Encephalomyelitis vaccine marketed in Indonesia and a 10-3 dilution of Japanese Avian Encephalomyelitis vaccine was used as a reference. The clinical signs were observed for three weeks postinoculation. All of the birds were exsanguinated and necropsied for histopathological examination. We concluded that the histopathological examination shows more susceptible results than the clinical signed to estimate the virus content in Avian Encephalomyelitis vaccine.
